Tips for a Pet-Safe Home
Even non-toxic plants can cause mild stomach upset if eaten in large quantities. Place plants where pets can't dig in the soil (fertilizer can be harmful). Use pet-safe fertilizers and avoid cocoa mulch (toxic to dogs). If you have both toxic and non-toxic plants, keep toxic ones in rooms your pets can't access or on high shelves.
